New Projects

"Light Garden"

The artist's next public project will be Light Garden for the Washington on Westcott Roundabout in Houston's west end.  The commission will feature five, 25 Ft. high stainless steel towers with special lighting effects.  The five towers will surround the traffic circle in a landscape design by Keiji Osakura.  The sculptures will use LED color lighting to create a tiara of light for the roundabout.

"Pine Cones"

Pine Cones was commissioned by the Woodlands Corporation for the Town Green Park, situated next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.  The 6 ft stainless steel Pine Cones sit atop 18 ft high columns that flank the entrance to the park.  The sculptures illuminate at night.

Outdoor Fireplace

This outdoor fireplace was built with Rumford fireplace components.  The steel structure supports the clay components while leaving them visible.  The stainless steel tree silhouette on the cover door is hammered to add form and texture.  The fireplace was fabricated in the studio and delivered and assembled with the help of an experienced local mason.  The chimney frame was welded on site.  The project was completed in 2008.
